Estate Christmas lighting at full scale.
Long gated drives, mature live oaks with full canopy wraps, guest houses, pool pavilions and rooflines measured in the hundreds of feet. Designed on site, installed by the same crew every year, and handled with the discretion the address requires.
Luxury estate Christmas lighting in DFW typically runs $5,000–$35,000+. A large single-residence roofline with feature trees is roughly $5,000–$10,000; a full estate with gated drive, canopy-wrapped oaks, guest house and landscape lighting runs $15,000–$35,000+. Estate work is designed on site rather than quoted from a template, and the same crew returns each season.

The whole
property.
Estate work is a different discipline from residential — the scale changes what looks right.
Canopy tree wraps
Mature live oaks and pecans wrapped to full canopy rather than trunk-only. On an estate this is usually the defining element, not the roofline.
Gated drives & approach
Drive-line lighting, gate columns and allée trees along the approach — the part guests see before the house.
Architectural rooflines
Rooflines measured in hundreds of feet, with dormers, turrets and detail picked out rather than a single outline.
Guest houses & outbuildings
Pool pavilions, casitas and garages lit to match the main residence so the property reads as one composition.
Landscape & water features
Bed lighting, hedges, fountains and pool surrounds integrated with existing landscape lighting.
Discretion
Crews briefed on privacy expectations, coordinated with your estate manager, household staff and security as required.
Designed on site.
Never from a template.
No two estates take the same design, which is why we will not quote one from an address and a satellite image.
Every estate quote starts with a walk of the property at the hour the display will actually be seen. Sightlines from the street, from the gate and from the drive approach all differ, and a design that reads beautifully from the front door can disappear entirely from the road. That walk is also where we find the trees worth the money — usually two or three specimens that will carry the whole composition.
Scale changes the aesthetic. A technique that looks generous on a suburban two-storey can look sparse across a 400-foot roofline, and outlining everything on a large house reads as busy rather than elegant. Estate work is generally about choosing fewer elements and executing them completely — full canopy wraps rather than trunk wraps, architectural detail rather than perimeter outline.
Continuity matters at this level. The same crew lead returns to your property each season, your lights are stored with us and reinstalled to the same design, and adjustments carry forward year to year. Most of our estate clients have re-booked with the same crew every season since 2009.

Common
luxury estates questions.
The things buyers in this category actually ask before they commit.
How much does luxury estate Christmas lighting cost?+
A large residence with roofline and feature trees typically runs $5,000–$10,000. An estate with multiple canopy-wrapped specimens and landscape lighting is $10,000–$18,000. A full estate including gated drive, guest house and water features runs $18,000–$28,000, and signature properties $28,000–$35,000+.
Why do you need to visit before quoting?+
Because sightlines decide the design and you cannot read them from a satellite image. We walk the property at the hour the display will be seen — from the street, the gate and the drive approach — which is also where we identify the two or three specimen trees that will carry the whole composition.
What does canopy tree wrapping cost?+
Between $800 and $2,500 per mature specimen depending on height, spread and access. On most estates this is where the money is best spent — a fully wrapped live oak does more for the property than another hundred feet of roofline.
Which neighbourhoods do you work in?+
Highland Park, University Park, Preston Hollow, Volk Estates, Bluffview, Westlake's Vaquero Club, Stonebriar Country Club, Bent Tree and the surrounding estate areas. We have dedicated pages for most of them.
How do you handle privacy and household staff?+
Crews are briefed on privacy expectations before arrival and we coordinate through your estate manager, household staff or security as you prefer. The same crew lead returns each season, which removes most of the friction.
Do you store our lights between seasons?+
Yes, in a climate-controlled facility, reinstalled to the same design each year with any adjustments carried forward. Custom-cut estate sets are not something you want in a garage for eleven months.
