Step 1: Free quote request and design consultation

For most residential properties, we can provide a detailed quote based on photos and a phone discussion. For luxury estates and complex properties, we typically do an in-person walkthrough to map every roofline, identify trees for wrapping, and discuss design vision. Step 2: Custom design and detailed quote

Within 24-48 hours of your consultation, we provide a detailed itemized quote covering every aspect of your installation. Roofline coverage broken out by section (front gables, side eaves, dormers, valleys). Tree wrapping with quantity and tree size. Wreaths with placement specifications. Garland with linear footage. Step 3: Booking and scheduling

Once you accept the quote, we lock in your installation date. Premium luxury neighborhoods (Highland Park, Preston Hollow, Vaquero Club, Carillon) book early โ€” often 60-90 days in advance. We confirm your scheduled date in writing and provide pre-installation prep guidance (clear access to power outlets, advise of any property concerns).

Step 4: Material preparation at our facility

In the days before your installation, we custom-cut every strand of C9 LED at our Plano facility to fit your home's exact rooflines. Each strand is labeled for the specific section of your roof. All connections are pre-tested and weatherproofed. Tree wrapping mini lights, wreaths, garland, and accessories are pulled from inventory and prepared. We arrive on installation day with everything pre-cut, pre-tested, and ready to install efficiently.

Step 5: Installation day

Crew arrives at the scheduled time window in a branded company truck. Lead installer walks the property with you (or works from approved design notes if you're not home), confirms the install plan, and identifies any last-minute considerations. Materials are pre-tested again on the lawn before going on the roof. Installation begins systematically โ€” roofline first, then trees, then wreaths and garland, then power and timer setup. Each section is tested before moving to the next. Crew waits for dusk to verify the full display lights properly and walks the property one final time. Property is left cleaner than we found it.

Step 6: In-season service

After installation, we monitor the season. If anything goes wrong with your display โ€” a strand goes dark, a wreath falls, a timer fails, a squirrel damages a wire โ€” text or call us. We come back same-day or next-day to fix it at no charge. Free in-season service calls are included with every installation. The display stays beautiful from Thanksgiving through New Year's because we treat the entire season as part of our service, not just the install day.

Step 7: January takedown and year-round storage

In early January (typically January 2-15), we return to your property and carefully remove every light, wreath, garland, and tree wrap. Everything is packed, labeled, and transported to our climate-controlled storage facility. You don't store anything. You don't deal with tangled strands next November. Property is left clean and ready for spring. The crew that installs your lights typically does the takedown โ€” they know your property by then.

Step 8: Rebooking for next season

Returning customers automatically get priority scheduling for the following season. We send a reminder in July/August with your previous year's design on file and pricing locked in. Rebooking takes 30 seconds โ€” you can confirm by text, email, or phone. How far in advance should I book?+

Premium luxury neighborhoods book 60-90 days in advance for peak dates. Returning customers can rebook anytime. New customers should request a quote by Labor Day weekend at the latest for the best selection of installation dates. By mid-October, peak dates are typically fully booked.

Do I need to be home for the installation?+

Not necessarily. As long as we have access to power outlets and approved design notes, our crew can complete most residential installations without you home. Many customers prefer to be present for the design walkthrough but go to work during installation.

What if I need to reschedule?+

We're flexible on rescheduling when needed. Weather-related reschedules are accommodated automatically. Customer reschedule requests are honored based on calendar availability โ€” earlier notice means more options. We work with you on any genuine scheduling needs.

How is your in-season service?+

Free for our installation customers. Text or call any time during the season (typically November through early January). We respond same-day or next-day for most issues. Major issues (large dark sections before holiday gatherings) get priority dispatch.

Do I pay full price for Christmas lights every year?+

No. Your first season covers your custom commercial-grade C9 LED lights, design, and installation โ€” and you own the lights from then on.
