RGB and animated Christmas displays.

Pixel-mapped LED that changes colour, animates and synchronises to music — installed permanently on your roofline and controlled from an app. One system that runs Christmas in December, your brand colours year-round, and orange on Halloween.

Quick Answer

Commercial RGB and animated Christmas lighting in DFW typically runs $20–$45 per linear foot installed, with most commercial properties landing between $15,000 and $75,000. The system is permanent — installed once into the roofline, controlled from an app, and reused every year with no annual install cost. Music synchronisation and pixel-mapped animation add programming time rather than hardware.

What it does

One system,
every holiday.

The economics change when the lighting stops being seasonal and starts being infrastructure.

🎨

16 million colours

Warm white for Christmas, orange for Halloween, red-white-blue for July, your brand palette for a grand opening — from the same fixtures.

🎵

Music synchronisation

Pixel-mapped sequences timed to audio. Popular for retail centres and entertainment districts that want a nightly show.

📱

App control

Schedule by date, change scenes from a phone, set it once for the season and leave it. No one climbing a ladder to flip anything.

♾️

Permanent installation

Installed into the roofline in a track that is effectively invisible by day. No annual install and takedown cost after year one.

🔆

Commercial-grade fixtures

Individually addressable LEDs rated for exterior use, with a 10–15 year expected life and a warranty that covers failures.

⚙️

Programmed for you

We build the scenes and schedules. You get a working system, not a controller and a manual.

The economics

Pay once.
Light every year after.

Permanent RGB costs more up front and less over any horizon longer than about four seasons.

A traditional commercial installation is billed every year — design, install, takedown, storage, repeat. A permanent RGB system is a capital cost in year one and effectively free to operate after that, aside from occasional service. For a property that lights up every December anyway, the crossover is usually somewhere between the third and fifth season.

The second argument is utilisation. A seasonal display works for six weeks. The same fixtures running your brand colours in September, orange at Halloween, and a static warm white on ordinary evenings are earning their keep year-round — which is why retail centres and entertainment districts tend to adopt this first.

The honest caveat: RGB is not the right answer for every property. A conservative corporate campus or a historic building often looks better in fixed warm white, and animation can read as cheap in the wrong setting. We will tell you when a traditional C9 install is the better-looking choice.

Questions

Common
rgb & animated displays questions.

The things buyers in this category actually ask before they commit.

How much do commercial RGB and animated Christmas lights cost?+

Permanent RGB runs $20–$45 per linear foot installed. A small facade or entrance feature is typically $15,000–$25,000; a full retail centre or multi-elevation building $25,000–$50,000; a landmark property with music synchronisation $50,000–$75,000+. After installation there is no annual reinstall cost.

Is it worth it versus a traditional seasonal install?+

It depends on your horizon. A seasonal install is billed every year; a permanent system is a one-time capital cost. For a property that lights up every December, the crossover is usually between the third and fifth season — sooner if you also use the system for other holidays or brand colours.

Can it play music-synchronised shows?+

Yes. Pixel-mapped sequences can be timed to audio, which is what retail centres and entertainment districts typically want for a nightly show. The work is in the programming rather than the hardware, and we build the sequences for you.

Is it visible during the day?+

The track is installed into the roofline and reads as trim from the street. It is not invisible at close range, but from normal viewing distance most people never notice it is there until it comes on.

What happens if a section fails?+

Individually addressable LEDs mean a failure affects a segment rather than the whole run, and fixtures carry a manufacturer warranty with our workmanship warranty on the install. Service callouts are handled by the crew that installed it.

Is RGB always the right choice?+

No, and we will say so. Conservative corporate campuses and historic buildings usually look better in fixed warm white, and animation can read as cheap in the wrong setting. RGB earns its place on retail, hospitality and entertainment properties that want to be noticed.

Common commercial lighting questions.

How much does commercial Christmas light installation cost?+

Commercial Christmas light installation typically starts around $3,500 and runs $7–$12 per linear foot for fully managed service — design, commercial-grade materials, professional installation, in-season service, takedown, and storage. Pricing depends on the property size, building height, and scope. Multi-property portfolios qualify for volume pricing, and verified accounts can be invoiced on Net-30 terms.

Do you offer commercial Christmas light installation near me in DFW?+

Yes — we provide commercial Christmas light installation throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex, including Dallas, Plano, Frisco, McKinney, Allen, Richardson, Highland Park, and surrounding areas. As a local commercial Christmas lighting company, we're bucket-truck capable, fully insured to $2M, and equipped for offices, retail centers, hotels, restaurants, and corporate campuses.

Do you install commercial holiday lighting for businesses?+

Absolutely. Commercial holiday lighting is a core part of our work — we light storefronts, office buildings, shopping centers, hotels, restaurants, and corporate campuses across DFW. We use commercial-grade C9 LED for consistent color and durability through a full North Texas season, and we coordinate installs around your business hours to minimize disruption.

Do you offer commercial holiday lighting contracts?+

Yes. We offer multi-year commercial agreements that lock in pricing and guarantee your install date. Year one covers your custom commercial-grade lights, which you own; every season after is a lower flat rate for install, service, takedown, and storage. Contracts are popular with property managers overseeing multiple DFW properties.

Do we pay full price every year for commercial Christmas lights?+

No. Year one covers the cost of your custom commercial-grade lights, which you own. Every season after, you pay a lower flat rate for installation, in-season service, takedown, and storage — never re-buying lights. It's the most cost-effective model for businesses and HOAs that decorate every year.

Do you store and maintain our commercial lighting between seasons?+

Yes — we take everything down after the season and store your lights in our climate-controlled warehouse at no extra charge, so your property has no storage burden. While stored, your lights stay under warranty; we replace bulbs and clips as needed and have your system ready to reinstall the following November.

Do you carry insurance for commercial properties?+

We carry $2,000,000 in general liability plus workers' compensation on our W-2 crews — important for tall buildings and properties where owners require contractors to be fully covered. We'll issue a Certificate of Insurance (COI) naming your property or management company as additional insured before any work begins.

When should businesses book commercial Christmas light installation?+

We recommend commercial properties book by mid-September to lock in a preferred install date. Commercial schedules fill quickly through October because larger properties need more lead time for design, measurement, and pre-build. Booking early also ensures your display is up before your busiest holiday-season foot traffic begins.

Can you install Christmas lights on tall commercial buildings?+

Yes. We're bucket-truck capable and equipped for multi-story office buildings, hotels, and high-rises. Our W-2 crews are trained and insured for elevated work, and we coordinate lift staging, fall protection, and any building-management or permit requirements in advance so install day runs smoothly.

Do you handle multi-property and portfolio accounts?+

Absolutely. We work with property management companies and commercial owners across multiple DFW properties, offering a single point of contact, consolidated invoicing, volume pricing, and a cohesive design standard across every location. It's one of the most common ways we serve regional and national property managers.

What's included in commercial Christmas light installation?+

Fully managed service: on-site design consultation, commercial-grade C9 LED materials, professional installation, in-season service calls (if a section goes dark, we fix it), takedown after the season, and climate-controlled storage. You get one accountable vendor for the entire lifecycle, not just a one-time hang.

What hours do you install commercial lighting?+

We work around your operations. For retail centers, restaurants, and offices that can't pause daytime business, we offer early-morning, evening, and overnight installs. We coordinate scheduling with your property manager to minimize disruption to customers and tenants.

What type of lights do you use for commercial properties?+

Commercial-grade C9 LED bulbs with professional-grade wiring and custom-cut roofline runs — not store-bought strands. That means consistent color temperature, durability through a full North Texas season, energy efficiency, and a clean, engineered look that holds up across large commercial facades.

How is commercial different from residential Christmas light installation?+

Commercial work involves larger scale, taller structures, stricter insurance and permit requirements, and coordination with property managers and tenants. We use heavier-duty commercial-grade materials, carry $2M liability with COI documentation, offer Net-30 terms, and schedule around business operations — all tailored to the needs of businesses and HOAs rather than single homes.

Do you install commercial Christmas trees in DFW?+

We don’t install artificial display trees. We wrap the real trees on your property — mature oaks, crepe myrtles, magnolias — with commercial-grade mini lights at offices, retail centers, restaurants, and HOA communities across DFW. Full trunk-and-branch wrapping, installed around your business hours, with takedown and storage included. See our tree wrapping service for details.
